Make new friends,
But eep the old.
The new is silver.
The old is gold.
A circle is round.
It has no end.
That is how long.
I want to be your friend!

我記得這是類似兒歌之類的東西...
不是詩...
出處已經不可考, 這類東西在網上越久
就會越來越長..
以下是我找到最長的版本... ^^;

Make new friends,
but keep the old.
One is silver,

A fire burns bright,
it warms the heart.
We've been friends,
from the very start.

Silver is precious,
Gold is too.

The sky is blue,
The Earth is green.
