[創作] The Rome of demo-crazy

[hemels (脂肪球)]

  Now that once again
  is elected, the dictator populi,
  raged are the supporters of the opposing flank;
  thus they march
  in despair and hope
  to Katagalan, that field of war.

  And war did they unveil
  with torrents of tears and blasphemy:
  "inritus are the ballots", cried the mob,
  "until our demand for recount be sated,
   the war goes with no end."
  Flags of azure they wave,
  words of iustitia they plead,
  yet but by all the magicianess of the broadcasting media,
  whose craft in usurping light into darkness
  and sadness to mockery remain
  undefeated throughout human history,
  hath turned this battle into,
  delightfully a Sunday parade.

  See, amongst this siege, facing
  Katagalan from his palatial frame,
  the re-chosen one sighs
  whilst he mourns the loss of flesh,
  a cut 4 inches wide,
  of which the occisor is vague
  only to those who do not contemplate.

  And see! how far and wide has the rumor
  spread, from the mouth of Moungar
  to the toes of Kenting,
  that speaks of conspiracy, treachery,
  delinquency, if not the dawn of
  demo-crazy.

  Throughout this island of Rome
  a Palatine of ancient feudality,
  the fire seeded long-ago,
  hath blossomed full this year spring.
  Amidst this storm, who may discern
  what's true or what is falsity?
  For if truely is here a wise man,
  he must say:
  "Stultior stulto fuisti, qui tabellis crederes!"

  dictator populi: people's dictator
  inritus: invalid, uneffectual
  iustitia: justice, equality
  occisor: murderer
  "Stultior stulto fuisti, qui tabellis crederes!" :
   Idiots of idiots, to trust what is written!

  雖然我寫了這個，但請不要以為我是在為任何一方說話哦 :3

  政治觀點雖是一回事，但在寫詩的時候，是用詩人 (i.e., 兩方皆不支持)
  的方式寫的。
