This is my first attempt on English poetry, and I hope that all the
master-hands here can give me some comments...:)
# Hundreds of Solitude #
Have you ever seen-
Bright yellow roses on the sapphire blue satin?
Have you ever noted-
Pale roses, for want of sunlight, faded?
Have you ever been dying for a slant of light-
Winter afternoons- though knowing absurd a mind?
Hundreds of solitude-
Valiant must be the attitude-
Fain have a toast, then-
For never more tragically heroic would be, at this moment-
