From all the sunlight that shines through, I see traces of cheerfulness.
You sing your life for me, how could I resist your beautiful high notes?
At times, I kiss you at the cozy nights shared between us.
Not a chance will I want to expel myself from the sphere of truth.
People said that nothing would stay the same as time progresses.
I simply went with a laugh and told them it’s not true.
For the words spoken, and all the things you do.
I sensed the intimacy never learnt from the textbook.
It is like tending a glass of wine, and
chatting through matters that interest you.
Reality isn’t as complicated as it should have to.
People reminded me the darkness comes when goodbye.
Notices taken, yet I will keep on with my moves.
The firework won’t go off until we are wrapped in the warmth of love.
Let’s enjoy the show and treasure the silence coming afterwards.
I won’t bite through this lovely autumn moment,
Because, the stars are just above us.
People wanted to know why I badly want to keep this alive.
I believe it all started after the first moment I saw you.
Did you believe the timeline will freeze itself so we won’t fall apart?
Will I dig out the things you wrote so I don’t forget your faces?
Years have passed; the 2 of us seem still pretty close,
Yet resorting to remembrance is the only thing I can do.
