[創作] An Ode to Love

Rencontre, an experience akin to
A strange, but beautiful deja vu,
Rallied its way to us,
And that was where we met.

Thy tender, loving care always imparts an
Uncanny glow of warmth that
Enlivens a world wherein I breathe, feel, and muse.
And the way you love me aggregates the weight
No secular gauge suffices to measure.
No one but we know how love
Accounts for our life -
Even the afterlife.

I glean whatever I can,
High and low,
In the field where the sky is the limit,
To nourish you, and foremost,
To love you.
Plowman as I am likened to,
I submit to such a destiny - to resonate
With every breath you take and
Every beat of thy pumping heart.

People keep asking me why
I reiterate the four letters "L-O-V-E."
"Because love rules,
And that is why I thrive," said I in return.
So I shall do nothing but
Preach the religion of
Love.

Inconspicuous as my love may be,
Time will reveal everything,
For my commitment is axiomatic.

Perhaps by the next dawn
I shall be a nasty, old fellow
With a pair of chapped hands.
But aging will never eradicate
The bud of my ever fervent love.
Because along the stretch of my life,
I will contribute every little thing
To brew our love,like a bottle of
Extraordinary vintage wine -
We shall savor the nuances together.

Whenever and wherever you throw yourself to me,
I am overwhelmed by a spurt of euphoria -
Only angels deserve it but
So do I.
Albeit we bid goodbye, the afterglow remains Lingering.
Even the touch and aroma you leave
Seem to never depart
But sketch the silhouette of you.

A charging sea swells may devour an island,
Nonetheless it will never be gigantic enough
To obliterate my rigid tenet - to love you fondly.

How long shall the fire of love flare on?
The answer is:
Ad infinitum.
