How far can I keep my wandering thought, From thy face, thy eyes and thy tender smile? And how long, in self-cheated peace of nought Can I still perform the sad play of guile? I havd my heart filled with secular things In gaudy daylight to fend my dark wish, Which, yet, in night with sugared dreams up springs That in sleep I see will for sure perish, When the sharp beam of dawn rips my eyelids. I hate dreams! Devious fancy! False vision! That makes true my wish in slumber, and bids Me taste the gall of soon disillusion. Wouldst thou ruin my night also, o my Beloved, Since thou hadst my day's joy for good removed? -- Rage, rage against the dying of the light! ---Dylan Thomas(1914-1953) -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 114.36.241.4
