Sometimes I breathe out my soul: See how it hangs in the air! Before my soulless flesh should fall, It I load with tender care. I blow it forth with a sigh; Thro' the overwhelming rain, To the fair clime it shall fly, Where my feet attempted in vain. There my shapeless soul would stay, Without an Ear nor an Eye, That are bound by mortal Clay, Doomed by Time's shadow to die. For the fairest is unseen, And unheard the melody Most mellifluous as e'er been! My soul 'lone senses both in thee. -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 1.164.214.228
