我的第一首英詩 希望沒有文法錯:p A Soldier's Poem You searched the battlefield for matching poetic passages, And toyed with the words while waiting for the next bombing. Your gentle fingers could feel my eyes underneath the bandages. You comforted me, "you are just as blind as every human being." I kept still on the stretcher deep inside the darkness, To hear over again you recited the couplets of love and youth. I could not see your expressions but I smelled your hopelessness. I chuckled and whispered, "Is it so hard to face the motherfucking truth?" "Collect your tears and drink them with the best bourbon, Burn my corpse with your other bad memories in the flames of time, By your heart you may put on an extremely tiny little black ribbon, ─A satin one, I insist. Remember me, just, as, a comma, in someone's rhymes." You tried to hold back the sound of that silent sigh, I nodded as my blood ran cold and willed a goodbye. -- "I think that anything done well improves the world. No matter how dark that piece of art is, a world with one more piece of art is still a better place." - Martin McDonagh -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 82.15.254.248 ※ 編輯: Katurian 來自: 82.15.254.248 (05/04 16:33)
