Before you went on your trip we
Held a party, with many friends
We sent you different but the warmest presents--
An eyeshade, a good book, and our best wishes
You were leaving with smiles, clear and bright
Like moonlight shining the lake at night
You said, "Let's meet another good night"
When you are on your trip I
Am thinking where you are going
What kind of people you will meet
Are food there spicy or sweet
Oh, maybe I should stop imagining
But take my pen, and write a poem
In exchange for your wonderful stories.
