May I feel anothers woe, But not lost in sorrow too. May I feel anothers grief, But not long for kind forgive? May I feel thy falling tear, But not let my sorrows spread, May a keeper feel his prisoner, Weep, nor be with sorrow fill'd. May a sinner kneel and swear, An innocent groan an innocent prayer-- No no never it will be. Never never it will be. But may he who observes the whole Pity the maiden with sorrows full, Pity the little orphans grief & scare Pity the woes that innocents get-- But not stand beside the path Pouring suffer in those heart, But not stand the faded past Weeping gasp while innocents pray. But not stand between night & day, Keeping all our pain awake. O! no never it will be. Never never it will be. He doth share his love to all. He becomes an innocent fall. He becomes a boy of woe He doth take the sorrow too. Figure that, thou could pity a pity, When thy bringer is coming by. Figure that, thou could weep a gasp, When thy bringer is coming here. O! he shares with us his love, For our grief he would conciliate Then our grief is freed & forsake He doth stand by us and embrace. -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 219.70.181.104
