Your eyes are like the clouds, so bright and pure,
Your smile, the joy that lifts up flying birds;
In you I see my blessed, loving cure,
But you will not assent to say the words.
I like, I love, I need, I'm full of you -
I feel tranquility and blissful yearns;
And I know you do feel this passion too,
Sublime and tantalizing, oh it burns!
The long star-studded walks we take beside
The lake of drunken joy and drugged love,
Bright incandescent moon, so touched it cried,
And trees whispering things we know not of.
        All these are not enough to put an end
        To the romance of you and your boyfriend.
