                                                                   in me and my
                                                                 daily actions,
                                                                 how I talk and
                                                          treat my friends, all
                                                              my other friends,
                                                                 excluding you?

                                                                 Can there be a
                                                             lasting friendship
                                                               when, every time
                                                                   I see you, I
                                                               want to make you
                                                                feel so good it
                                                              hurts like a gun-
                                                             shot to the heart?

                                                               Yet, do you know
                                                              that's how I feel
                                                                when I see you,
                                                                  and I realize
                                                                you can at most
                                                                be a friend and
                                                                 only a friend?
