to blue skies and summer rains,
to green fields and pristine streams,
to tall trees and cool shade----

Let us prance through flowers hand in hand:
azaleas, orchids, violets,
sunflowers, daisies, bluebonnets----

come home to chocolate and smores,
a warm hearth to keep out the night,
a blanket to embrace you, a drowzy bed----

to me.
