down the mount i go in the rain the rain the rain only the cap is with me down the path of wandering dogs, and the passengers underneath the pavillion waiting. Then I rush in the rain, seeking for a shelter, like the stick-bug hurrying beside me, big steps, awkward gaits. To a stop I halt by, In the rain but under a roof, Watching the grey plain in the mystic haze, The distant clouds breaking and collapsing, And the light piercing out of them From the world to come, the pandemonium of the sun. -- note: the last phrase is a quote from Cormac McCarthy's _Blood Meridian_. -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 180.218.53.119
