That was not so silent a night when I was assigned to patrol in the dead of the wintry night. Others were all asleep, envoloped in a leaden dream. I was awake. I walked to the sentry's cabin against the howling winds that pestered on and on about where's the way where light dwells. They said Someone was born today, long long ago.
