Endless Search
Maybe I've looked in all the wrong places?
I've searched through so many crowds,
But looked at all the wrong faces.
So many times I've felt down,
so many times I've felt so alone.
All because you weren't around.
I've been looking for a friend,
A lover to hold me when I cry.
But my search came to an end.
I gave up hope not long ago.
I tried so hard but it didn't matter.
I felt the need to let you go.
Now I'm sitting here
And I'm wondering what went wrong.
From my eyes, drops a single tear.
I'd still fight for you,
But I feel I have nothing left to fight for.
Now I want you to hurt too.
Maybe you'll realize your mistakes.
I don't know why I love you,
All I know is my heartaches.
