寒假我跑回老家去了，結果整整一個月沒上網路.....
所以只好在老家慢慢刻文章，底下po的幾篇是我寒假的成果，大部份是翻譯的。
現在這一篇是「The Art Of Porco Rosso」書上的故事介紹，英文原文我附在中文
翻譯的底下。

這是一部充滿浪漫騎士精神的傳奇故事。
故事的主人翁─波哥羅索為了證明他的愛，和亞得里亞海上臭名昭彰的空賊們
展開了一場愛的戰爭。
在現今這個時代，女性們的前衛和能幹深深吸引了我們的注意。
相反的，這一代的男性卻是可悲的一群。從什麼時候開始，男性在年輕女性的眼中
竟已落得「不令人滿意」、「不值得信任」了呢？
這部電影勇敢地向時代的潮流挑戰，而主人翁「波哥羅索」正是年輕女性心中
「理想的男性形象」。但你相信嗎？宮崎駿竟然選了隻「中年的豬」來扮演這個
英雄的角色！雖然他的外表並不好看，但是宮崎駿希望能透過波哥，來描繪出那
種曾經一度存在的「男性吸引力」。在這之前曾試過以一位英俊的大明星來做主
角，但後來宮崎駿還是毅然決定用一隻豬。
另外，這部電影也是一個自願變成豬的男人的故事。
故事發生的地點是義大利，經濟大恐慌正在席捲整個世界，時值一次世界大戰後
的1920年代末期。在面臨另一個新的戰爭的陰暗氣氛之中，一位曾是義大利空軍
頂尖飛行員的男人在自己身上施了魔法，將自己變成一隻豬，因為他不想再成為
「國家英雄」。而在同時，一群失業的飛行員組成了一個叫「Aero Viking」的空
賊組織，在地中海海域上橫行搶劫。變成豬的男人於是成了賞金獵人，勇敢地和
空賊們對抗。空賊們都叫他「波哥羅索」，非常地怕他。
主人翁的身邊環繞了許許多多的角色。一位名叫吉娜的美麗女人，年青時是波哥的
好朋友，當時波哥還是個人類。波哥和吉娜到現在都還互相抱著愛慕之意，但是微
妙的是，他們彼此之間一直保持著一段距離。接著，另一位女性菲娥，一個充滿活
力的女孩，由於幫波哥修理他的飛艇而大為活躍。和菲娥的相遇給了波哥一個改變
自己的機會。此外，卡地斯則是Aero Viking的幫手，和波哥敵對，是個輕浮的人。
故事的縱軸是波哥和兩位女性的關係發展，橫軸是與Aero Viking的戰鬥，故事的
主題則位於中心。波哥和卡地斯的決鬥結果會如何呢？波哥、吉娜和菲娥之間的
三角關係又會有什麼發展？再者，波哥到底為什麼變成豬？
電影的原著是一部刊在「Model Graphics」雜誌的漫畫，原名「飛行艇時代」。
將這部漫畫搬上螢幕，是出自於宮崎駿自己的期望。他的談話中提到，這部電影
是「一部娛樂他自己的電影」，而且同時也是一部「個人電影」。他的話有兩種含
意：一方面，宮崎駿自己是個飛機迷，因此他拍了這部故事中有飛行船大肆活躍的
片子。另一方面，宮崎駿描寫了一隻中年豬的自傲、率真、炫示、孤獨及悔恨，而
這正是宮崎駿自己的寫照。所以這部片子無疑地是他的「個人電影」。
宮崎駿並不想「嚴肅地談論人生」，相反地，他希望透過這部發生在無垠的藍天上
、輕鬆而有趣的飛行動作電影，能讓觀眾體會到一絲「人生的苦澀」。
這是一部獨特的電影，和宮崎駿以往的電影都不同。而宮崎駿拍這部片子的用意，
也是希望它能使以後的電影有所改變。

Tales of chivalry in the skies
above the adriatic sea as Porco Rosso
Fights the infamous sky pirate Curtis
to prove his love.
Girl's "pop" and "power" excessively attract our attention in this
age. On the countrary, the pity of men in the same generation. Since
when have they been reduced to "be not satisfactory" and "untrust
worthy" existence for young women?
This project goes to against the current of the times boldly, "Porco
Rosso" also presents "Groovy Man" to young women. Would you believe it,
Hayao Miyazaki selected a hero is a "middle aged pig". His appearance is
not good but H.Miyazaki try to describe "Men's Attraction" throughly
and enough, that may have been existence once possibly. Just a little
time before, a handsome big star was cast for the part. H.Miyazaki knew
it, but dared to select a "pig". Moreover this is the story of a man
who changed himself to a "pig" willingly.
The Story is laid in Italy, the world panic sweep over, the time is end
of 1920' after World War I. Before the out bleak of new war, a man who
was the ace pilot of Air Force casts a spell on himself to become a pig
because refuse to be a "Hero of Nation" again. As the same time, the out-of
-work pilots have become pirates(not on the sea)=Aero Vikin, being fight
and steal above the Mediterranean Sea. The man become a bounty hunter and
fight to Aero Viking bravely. They are calling him "Porco Rosso" and fear
of him.
Varied characters surrounding a hero. A beautiful woman name is Gina who
lead her youthful days with Porco when he was a human and friends. Even now
Porco and Gina have an affection to each other, somehow, both of them are
keeping at a distance. Then, one another woman, a cheerful girl Fio is
active in repair Porco's flying boat very much. An encounter with her makes
a chance to change Porco's heart much. And Curtis is an old enemy as assists
Aero Viking came from U.S.A. who has light heart.
A vertical axis of this story is the relationshop with two women, a cross
axis is the fighting with Aero Viking, the story goes into the main point.
What conclusion preparing to Porco and Curtis as the fatal rival. It can
not safety be said that love, Porco, Gina, and Fio, their triangle relation
turn out to be what? Then, why Porco change into a pig?
The original story is a comics "Flying Boat Days" was seriallized in the
magazine "Model Graphics". H.Miyazaki began to make that comic into the
animation film with the hope himself. H.Miyazaki is talking about this film
is "made for own pleasure" and this is "a personal film", consistently,
there are two senses of what he says. On the one hand, H.Miyazaki, someone
knows he is an airplane fan, is making a film of the flying boat that is
active in the story very much. On the other hand, H.Miyazaki is describing
a pride, a nature, a display, a solitude, and a regret of the "middle
aged pig" as the other self of his own self, so this is his personal film
surely. For all that, is not want to "talk about man's life" seriously.
Through making a light and happy flying action animation film takes
place in the big sky, hope you to appreciate "a bitter taste of life" a
little, this film is unique one can not compare with any "Miyazaki's
animation", but he only can make this film that has the ambition to change
"New Film".
