The old man below the tree is the old Gyeon-Woo from the future.
If you look more carefully, you can also find that old man
when yupgigirl vomits in subway.
You can see him among passengers.

問:為何野蠻女不坐UFO回來救她的前男友? 老野蠻女也出現在片中嗎?
老犬友是因為無法得到野蠻女的愛, 孤獨一生, 特地回來撮合年輕的犬友和野蠻女嗎?
答:(不知道, 也不重要)
We don't know any more about their behind love story.
Because I think those things like UFO and the old man are not so important.
Those are just tiny things describing their love and
we only thought how their love becomes true
when we were developing the script.
