你不把原句po清楚,是無法解這題的,
不過由句型跟時態,
我猜應該是while...
GMAT常考contrast的語氣,而最愛用的字就是while,
至於with對的機率很低,
在GMAT中,with是被當作"有"講,而且通常都是錯誤答案,
尤其放句首,
是誰"with"??
而時態,這兩件事應該是同時發生,
時態要相同,when後面strong dollar是過去式,汽車製造商卻是用現在完成,
不對稱,應該也錯,
所以我認為是3,但你還是po清楚原句好.
