I was just going through your application package. It is excellent. We would
love to consider you seriously for admission into our program in the Spring
2008. Unfortunately all our TA positions are full. Since I am waiting to
hear about several research proposals that I have submitted, I will not have
any research funds to support you from the Spring term. There are several
possibilities.
1. We will consider you for the Fall 2008 term. Although not
guaranteed you have an excellent chance of getting a TA/RA starting from the
Fall.
2. You can join MSU with your own funds (I don't like this idea
because you will have to pay your parent's hard earned money) from Spring
and then become a TA/RA starting from the Fall or a RA for the summer (if
research funds become available and TA from the Fall).
Please let me know your thoughts. Also let me know a good time I can call
you and discuss these issues.

先說明一下狀況，我大概今年九月的時候丟了三間學校的 Physics Ph.D春季班，
MSU是第一間給我回音的學校。
我有點緊張，因為我不知道像這種內容的通知，算不算一種interview ?
我該準備哪些內容呢，比方說要先自我介紹，然後為什麼想申請他們學校，之類的問題。
我自己的打算大概就是等到秋季班入學了，
而這位對我有興趣的教授，我也看了有關他的網頁，大致上知道他研究的領域跟我碩班
研究是相當接近的。
