You can start from here:
http://www.foreignborn.com/visas_imm/entering_us/7importingyourcar.htm
It's relative cheaper to import foreign car into US than bring your car
back to TW. However, the regulation and all the inspection is still
trivial, boring and time consuming. You might want to check the specific
regulation about this in the state you want to go. For example, althought
you car is US Camry2.2, it may not meet with the more strict emission
standard in California.
I got a ten-year old Camry two years ago (140000Mile, not Km), only
cost me 3,000 $. So I guess it's not worth it. I know a lot of people tend
to bring everything they are familiar with to US when then first come
to study in order to get some sense of security or safety. But my two
cents is, don't do that. It will significantly decrease your learning
curve and loss chance of gaining valuable experience.
In this case, I'll bet one hundred to one that it's not worth it. Unless
you are very, very ,very confident that your Camry will beat the
hell of all the other Camrys in the same year with simialr condition.
