Matt: I don't know, it's quiete strange. It's about people looking back on their life to the things that they wanted, realising that the things that they扉e got were not worth it. So they are destroying all the things when they愉e looking back on their lifes. It愀 a quiete violent and agressive song. It seems that most of the song of the new album sound like a jamsession. Matt: It愀 one of the few albums where we didn愒 rehearse the songs live before. Actually the most of the songs came out in the studio. A lot of the stuff was written when we were in the studio. The sound of the album seems very minimal... Richard: As far as the traditional instruments as guitar and bass is concerned it愀 quiete minimal. A lot of stuff was taken out. Like the way the album was recorded it is like an exercise of minimalism. Where do the electronical influences come from? Richard: It has to do with the musical moods. You don愒 wanna record the same album twice. You wanna explore a different part of your musical sense. It愀 not like that you listen to a specific type of music, then you get influenced by it and then you record it. It has to do with digging a bit deeper inside. What has changed for you since you were a long time fan of suede and now you are a member? Is there something lost of the mystery of Suede for you? Richard: Yes, this happens on the road. What do you think about music and fashion. Does this connection exist anymore? Matt: I think this might be changing a bit. There were times in Britain where bands were some sort of fashionleaders. Like when the Stone Roses came out in Manchester and everyone looked like them. But I am sure that a band will appear with a quiet strange look and everybody looks like them. What do you expect from your fans? Matt: Presents. Are the old songs recorded with Bernard Butler still relevant for you? Matt: There is a lot of stuff from the first albums things like "Animal nitrate" that are not relevant anymore. I can愒 really remember what kind of person made them. What was your funniest moment on stage? Richard: Matt was tripping over a monitor wedge and this was in a quiet moment of a quiet song. This was during the guitarsolo. What kind of books do you read? Brett: Books with words in. Do you have anything you want to tell your fans? Richard: God loves you. -- IS ADULT ENTERTAINMENT KILLING OUR CHILDREN?
