SUEDE COOL ABOUT SHOWCASING NEW MATERIAL

SUEDE will premiere a selection of their new material at a one-off
show in ICELAND, nme.com can reveal.
The band will headline the Iceland Airwaves Festival in Reykjavik
on October 21, their only live show for the rest of the year. After
the festival the band plan to retire to the studio and work on
their new album, the follow-up to last year's 'Head Music'.
A spokesperson for the band told nme.com: "They're doing the third
night of the festival and it will be a good chance for them to
showcase the material in a good location."
Suede have just completed a second set demos at a residential
studio in Sussex. As previously revealed on nme.com, vocalist
Brett Anderson recently decamped to a private cottage in Croydon,
so as to "completely isolate himself from the distractions of
London life" - giving him more time to work on lyrics for the
record.
Finally, Suede are planning on giving away a free live CD with the
new issue of the Suede Information Service magazine. Details are
currently being finalised, but for information on how to subscribe,
visit the official Suede website at www.suede.net.
