Band of the Week Long lost, but not yet forgotten, Taiwan's Sugar Plum Ferry makes a surprising appearance in 2007, a good six years after their last record (Lack of Something). Rediscovering this old friend is almost the same as discovering SPF for the first time, mainly because I doubt many will remember the trio from that far back (it took be a good couple of hours to track down the old album). Regardless, little will detract from the band's charming melodies and powerful, yet energetic builds. Opener "One Third Cradle Song" destroys the world into a million little pieces and then spends a good portion of "Uproar from Riverside Buildings" picking up its pieces, a theme repeated throughout. Five tracks and the better part of an hour show us the best of what Taiwan has to offer, and we thoroughly enjoy the experience. 出處 http://thesilentballet.com/ -- 值得紀念 -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 220.141.124.75
