表過去的時間時，when/while 接的是持續的動作，用進行式;
接短暫動作時，用簡單式，不過while後面通常常用進行式
when通常常用簡單式
句型： 簡/進 when 簡/進 <=少用
簡/進 while 進/簡 <=少用
She was writing an e-mail when I saw her.
The teacher came here when/while we were talking.
The phone rang when I got home.
While I was eating dinner, Jane was listening to her i-pod.
