以下這樣都是對的
1. It is a state of mind that is worth developing and strengthening.
2. It is a state of mind that is worthy of being developed and strengthened.
3. It is a state of mind that is worthy to be developed and strengthened.
4. It is worthwhile (worth your while) to develop and strengthen a state of
mind.
5. It is worthwhile (worth your while) developing and strengthening a state of
mind.
簡單來說
worth 和 worthy 的主詞要是「物」。
worthwhile 和 worth one's while 主詞要是「事」。如：不定詞或虛主詞。
這句話也可以這樣寫
It pays to develop and strengthen a state of mind.
這樣應該有清楚一點。
