※ 引述《pureshoe (妮可蘭)》之銘言: : 標題: Re: [解題] 不定詞與動名詞 : 時間: Sat Apr 19 02:02:40 2008 : : ※ 引述《sugarfree (2。)》之銘言: : : ________ to other countries is a very popular activity. : : (A) Travel : : (B) To travel : : (C) Traveled : : (D) Traveling : : 正確答案是(D) : : 不定詞不是也可以當句首嗎 : : 應該不算錯 不過要怎麼解釋呢? : : 讓我想到一題在某國中的月考題目 : : ____________ questions is an important things in learning. : : (A)Asking (B)To ask (C)Asked (D)Ask : : 答案是A : : 我和其他老師討論的結果是 : 這邊的To ask 的意思有"為了"的意思,in order to 省略了in order : 所以To ask的意思就變成了為了問問題才去學習 : Asking questions動名詞表示的是一個名詞 : 也就是問問題是一件事情 : 所以Asking才合理 : : 所以我想這題的論點差不多也是這樣 : : 不知道這樣回答可不可以 : : : -- : http://www.wretch.cc/album/pureshoe : : : -- : ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) : ◆ From: 123.204.25.5 : 推 djnospam:(B)也可以,而且比前頭原PO的更自然. 不是"in order to 04/19 02:21 : → djnospam:ask"的省略。若以台灣考試喜歡考"正式"文法來說,不定詞 04/19 02:22 : → djnospam:的答案反而比動名詞的好。 04/19 02:23 : → djnospam:如果還是有疑問,最好是問英語人士,不要自己猜.... 04/19 02:23 : 推 djnospam:http://dunchee.english.tw/post/18/1649 04/19 02:41 將大大的書頁打字出來討論研究: Infinitives: subject, complement or object 1. subject: To practise is important/ It's important to practise In older English, an infinitive clause could easily be the subject of a sentence. "To practise regularly is important." "To wait for people who were late made him angry." In modern English, this is unusual in an informal style. We more often use it as a preparatory subject and put the infinitive clause later. "It's important to practise regularly." "It made him angry to wait for people who were late." We also use an -ing structure at the beginning of a sentence as the subject, instead of an infinitive clause. "Selling insurance is a pretty boring job." (More natural than To sell insurance...) 2. complement: Your task is to get across the river An infinitive clause can be used after be as a subject complement. "Your task is to get across the river without being seen." "My ambition was to retire at thirty." Sentences like these can also be constructed with preparatory it. "It is your task to get across the river without being seen." "It was my ambition to retire at thirty." 3. object: I like to read the paper at breakfirst Many verbs can have an infinitive clause as their object. Compare: "I like cornflakes for breakfast." (noun object) "I like to read the paper at breakfast." (infinitive clause as object) "She wants some exercise." "She wants to dance." : 推 fizeau:對。"為了..."比較類似形成一種條件情境 04/19 10:48 : → fizeau:但是原句的意思我們依照正常認知可以肯定下結論 04/19 10:49 -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 118.167.160.198
