題目：I need some books _____ the library.
     (A)for(B)to (C)with(D)from
答案是：(D)from

選D---from
我想是因為課本110頁Dialogue 1
Yes. I need some books from the city library.
我想這個題目是從課本改的
可是班上的同學大部分都選C----to
我查了柯旗化文法  大多強調need是助動詞和一般動詞的不同
查了

和

也沒有太多符合
但我在Macmillian 933頁中的例句
You'll need some warm clothes for the winter.
其實need + 受詞 + 介系詞+ 受詞
那個介系詞不一定是像這一題是from

所以說如果選C
I need some books to the library.
我需要一些書給圖書館
這樣又那裡錯了
只不過是from翻譯成「我需要一些書從圖書館」
不知道老師們的看法?
這一題選B----to對嗎?那裡不妥呢?

推 DANIELHSIANG:need可當助動詞也可當一般動詞，need sth. to do sth
→ DANIELHSIANG:需要什麼來做什麼，所以這裡不能選to
推 reggaebabe:I need some books to the library.我需要一些書給圖書
→ reggaebabe:館 --> 犯了點Chinglish的錯誤
→ reggaebabe:need的to,絕大部分都是不定詞的用法
推 isabellech:我查了longman online dictionary   need (非need to)
→ isabellech:的意思是 to feel that you want something very much
→ isabellech:語意上 "want sth" 而sth卻要送去圖書館 不太通順
