[解題] whether/if?

   I am not sure whether he will come.
                 ^^^^^^^
  請問一下 這裡的whether 可不可以改成 if?

  因為我看文法書/google   有的寫可以 有的寫不可以
  google上面是寫說因為 形容詞的關係

  請問在這裡到底可不可以互換?

推 applemia:在這裡應該是可以，如果是...whether he'll come or not
→ applemia:句中有"or not"不能替換成if
推 sitifan:whether/if...or not.
→ sitifan:句中有"or not"也能替換成if(Practical English Usage)
→ sitifan:whether/if...(or not)
推 applemia:我的老師說要嘛就用whether...or not要嘛就用if就好了
→ applemia:比較沒有if...or not耶
