標題[解題] 覆水難收?

1. 覆水難收的英文是
It's no use crying over spilt milk.
其中的crying可以改成 to cry 嗎?
why or why not?
2. 我還有查到南一講義上面還有寫另一種寫法
It's of now use to cry over spilt milk.

請問在這個句子中 為何要加 "of" 又 後面的 to cry 可改成 crying嗎
