[解題] 2題英文選擇

不好意思,

要麻煩版上的高手們,

幫我解解惑啊....

第一題是要選錯誤的用法:

Inevitably, as the hands of the clock
            (A)      (B)

move towards and approach zero hour,
           (C)

the contestants become increasingly nervous.
                              (D)

為什麼答案是(C)move towards and approach  ???

但我也實在找不到其他的錯誤了

第二題是克漏字

Two basic forms of social stratification are class and caste.

However these forms are changed ______education, marriage,

and hard work.

(A)by  (B)in  (C)through (D)among

答案是(C),但為什麼(A)不行呢?

by 不是也有"藉由"的意思嗎?

推 ambrosio:1.move towards跟approach意思一樣，所以redundance
→ ambrosio:2.一般by+ving; through+N.
