which results in poorer health for the children 這個子句是修飾前面的
less money is spent on health care and food for family
不看那個which的名詞子句的話 原句應該是
Less money is spent on health care and food for family in the place
where men control the household.
介係詞+名詞的 in the place 可以省略
為了讓 which 開首的子句更明確不被混淆 於是
把 where men control the household 搬到了前方
最常見的例子就是 有志者事竟成的英文
Where there is a will, there is a way (in the place).
