Both are acceptable.
1. I consider my family to be important. (I love them, admire them, etc.)
2. I benefit (in some way or ways) from my family. (I could not succeed
without them. I learn from them. They offer me things that are important
for my well-being.)

Note good to vs. good for:
I am good to you. = I do things that show how much I love and/or admire you.
I give you gifts, help you whenever you need help, protect you from harm, and
so on.
I am good for you. = I do things that improve you in some way.
You can learn from me. I can help you become better.
You can benefit by following my advice and example.
You can be good to someone without being good for them.
You can be good for someone without being good to them.
