[解題] "六加三"用is 還是are?

          如題。我在 Longman contemporary dic 上查到：

          How much is six and three?  Six and three is nine.

          可是南一版英文的解答卻寫著：

          What are six and three?  Six and three are nine.

          請問大家，這部分該如何解釋呢？

          is, are 兩種使用方式分別在教科書上出現過。

          不過 Longman 的解釋為 used when added numbers 用的是is,
