A) whether子句當受詞時，whether 可被 if 取代
I am not sure whether he will come ( or not ).
I am not sure if he will come.
B) whether子句當主詞或介詞的受詞時，whether 不可被 if 取代
Whether he will come is not known yet.
I am curious about whether he will come.
