[KEIKO (敗犬)]

collective noun 後面接 singular 或 plural verb是看你想表達的意思
譬如 你把它當a unit
你可以說 All my family lives in Taipei.
如果你是以一些individuals 來看
把它當作 a number of individuals
那你就可以說 All my family live in Taipei.

而英式英語 和美式英語略有不同
美式英語比較傾向 singular form
英式英語比較傾向接plural verb

推 Pinker:是的 剛查了一下 英式的英文的確將集合名詞與複數動詞連用
