﹝問題﹞與外師共同備課時,該說些什麼呢

請問在跟外師一起備課時應該說些什麼呢...
我聽說  應該要在課前和外師做充分溝通
了解他要上課的內容
或是詢問他是否需要幫忙

但我不知道怎麼用最口語,最自然的方式來表達我想說的這些話
我之前都是走到外師面前
傻傻的說  How can I help you...
每次講完都覺得自己很笨  >____<

請問該怎麼說  才是比較禮貌的呢

還有啊 "你這堂課打算要上什麼?"
這句話該怎麼表達呢
光用中文打出來  我就覺得好像有些不禮貌了...
