在具象的形容就像歌詞寫到

一顆受傷封閉的心其實渴望愛
但是過於渴望便會盲目付出
就像將血管 (vein)封住而心冷的感覺
讓自己如同冰冷的廢人(crippled )
當一有人cut open打開甚至是「切」開(帶有傷害的意味)
一方面心的血液重新流動帶來熱烈的重生感
但一方面卻也是以受傷作為代價
也因此可以在mv中看到
有類似家暴受虐的情節
這就是這首歌在講的主題
「以為無條件退讓與付出可以得到真愛的扭曲感情觀」
