Oh, so you're saying, native speakers are wrong? What the heck?! Have you ever actually been to any conferece or seminar? Unless you don't mind losing face (or showing people your intellectual naivete), you keep your mouth shut if you're not prepared or know nothing about what's under discussion. To be able to effectively participate in a seminar (or a conference, for that matter), you have to be prepared. I just received a conference concepts paper from the Peace and Conflict Society (Trudeau Centre, University of Toronto), asking its delegates who will be participating in the case studies seminars to carefully read the paper and be prepared to discuss the issues. You're contradicting yourself. You just "corrected" me on this issue earlier. Besides, you need to stop abusing the words and start paying attention to the fluidity of language. .....。(sorry but I'm losing my patience) In six words: you got it wrong, entirely, again. Why are you so bogged down in these [minute] distinctions which are even the case? -- "Politics is the skilled use of blunt objects," -Lester B.
