In working toward a"practical epistemology", we can consider ourselves as being
located in the epistemic space formed by the three paradigms of systems
thinking, dialecticalthinking, and constructivist thinking. It should be made
clear that this epistemictriangle does not exclude or reject empiricism; its assertions, however are con-sidered as a particular construction
based on empirical warrants, available andusable in conditions of relative
control (Bhola, 1996).
