第805集裡有幾個翻譯上的小問題，實在看不太懂...
善心人士解釋一下唄!
1. I am not putting a dollar in the jar.
(一開始monica在廚房裡面大叫)
2. Burning the midnight oil.
(chandler的老闆看到他在加班)
3. You like the Purple Rain display!
(ross來辦公室找chandler吃飯)
4. he thinks I'm some kind of a soap opera nut.
(rachel在拍片現場和kash聊天)

就是挑燈夜戰的意思...

我想是指Ross喜歡Hard Rock的某種裝潢吧...
然後Chandler覺得那很幼稚之類低~~

soap opera nut應該是指那些沉迷肥皂劇的人...
就是會因為肥皂劇的劇情起伏而心情起伏滴人...
感覺她們都覺得這種人很無趣...
所以Rach才會強調她不是!!

我猜是她們餐廳的人因為主廚(Monica)常常大吼大叫，
所以約定如果她大吼的話，
要捐出一塊錢 （put a dollar in a jar，八成是當公費或罰款之類的）
Monica因為Phoebe跟那個廚師調情導致廚師忘了工作，
跑到兩人中間「調解」
說等他工作結束以後，再安排他打電話給Phoebe
前提是他把工作做好
她講這一段的時候越來越激動，最後一句已經是用吼的了
所以全部的人轉過來看Monica
她才自知理虧，但又不肯承認錯誤(Monica作風）地說；
我沒大吼大叫，我才不要罰錢！

我忘記這段劇情在說什麼了，
所以不能說出百分之百的原意，
究竟是褒是貶。
Purple Rain是TAFKAP-Prince這個歌手的一張專輯名稱，
同時也是他自傳電影的標題。
題外話，JOJO冒險野郎第五部主角喬魯諾喬巴拿，
它的替身Gold Experience也是源自Prince的某張專輯。
