Moss on the trade:


Moss tells me he’s excited for the opportunity with Cleveland – he loves
hitting in that ballpark and he loves manager Terry Francona, whom he played
for in Boston – but he’s also sad to leave Oakland.

“They’re the only team that really gave me an opportunity,” he said. “I
expected to go to Triple-A with them and then pretty much go to Japan that
year, but they called me up and I made the most of it. We had three fun years.
”
