想請教一下！
最近在設計有關於此family的primer and probe
有參考paper均是設計在polymerase，老闆要我提供為甚麼要設計在此區域的理論
基礎給他，但我找了相關paper，大多也是像^This generepresents a highly
conserved and homologous region in the herpesviruses group.^
這樣簡單描述，沒有再更細部的說明，想請問為什麼大家都設計在
DNA polymerase gene（UL30），有沒有細部解說或是功能資料呢？
又或者可相關的paper或資料可佐證呢？
