Devin Harris is a little out of his comfort zone these days and it’s no
fault of his.
The 6-3 combo guard has found a nice role as the Mavericks’ sixth man, but
former teammate Brandan Wright, with whom he could be counted on for several
alley-oop passes that ended up getting flushed by Wright, is gone to Boston
in the trade for Rondo.
“He was my security blanket,” Harris said. “When I got in trouble, I could
always throw it up there, and I knew he’d be there to go up and get it. Our
other bigs are other types of players.”
While Tyson Chandler can still play above the rim, Harris is not necessarily
on the court a lot with the starting center. Greg Smith and Charlie
Villanueva, the other backup big men, are more of a banger and a shooter,
respectively.
Harris said Smith, who has received many of Wright’s minutes, “can be
effective. We just have to figure it out.”

失去了Wright對Harris影響很大

Wright是位值得依賴的隊友
雖然Chandler能做一樣的事情
但Harris很少跟先發中鋒一起打球
跟Harris一起搭的是Villanueva和Smith
Harris說Smith有很有潛力
只是他們還需要花點時間研究
