請問這個字該怎麼理解 我乍看下是把它想成既得利益者
有google但搜尋筆數很少 覺得好像不是這個意思
請大家幫我看看 附上前後文(本篇在討論一種新的法律權利概念):
The experiences of abolitionists and women's suffragists teach us that the
birthing process for new rights is far from easy or painless.
Even within the same polity or the same family, each new generation of rights
seekers will encounter resistance from established rights bearers.
We tend to perceive rights as a zero-sum game in which others' gains are our
