[外電] Suddenly, re-signing Devin Harris seem

If the Dallas Mavericks can finalize the trade to acquire center Tyson
Chandler and point guard Raymond Felton, expect them to give full attention
to retaining point guard Devin Harris when free agency opens next week.

Not that Felton isn’t a capable point guard in return for the trading of
Jose Calderon — as well as Samuel Dalembert and Shane Larkin.

But Felton has fought weight issues and has an inconsistent shot, although he
is a proven playmaker when it comes to running the team. His career has been
solid, but unspectacular since being the No. 5 overall pick in 2005.

But Harris might end up being the starter at the position, assuming he and
the Mavericks can come to a sensible contract when free agency opens.

Harris said last week that he wants to be in Dallas and now the playing time
that was modest at times in the second half of last season when he returned
from foot surgery would like be there in abundance.

As with all major trades, there usually are other shoes to fall. But keeping
Harris on the roster now appears to be an absolute necessity.

Felton過去一直有體重控制的問題

加上他的投籃穩定性不佳

至於組織方面Felton還ok

小牛也許會嘗試讓Harris先發

尤其是Harris可能會繼續控制上場時間

這筆交易最大受益者是Mekel

從冷凍到瞬間多了超多機會
