CC Sabathia to have season-ending knee surgery New York Yankees' CC Sabathia will have season-ending knee surgery on July 23 , general manager Brian Cashman said. Cashman also noted Sabathia will not undergo micro-fracture surgery, but inste ad will have a procedure to clean up his knee. "He'll get it cleaned up. Obviously it will end his season and hopefully next year is a different story," Cashman said.
