http://natsinsider.com/2014/09/18/nationals-dfa-eury-perez/ The Nationals designated outfield prospect Eury Perez for assignment on Thursday and claimed shortstop Pedro Florimon from the Minnesota Twins off waivers. Florimon was the Twins’ Opening Day shortstop, but hit just .092 in 33 MLB games this season. The 27-year-old holds a .204 average in 214 career games across four seasons. Florimon’s one full MLB season was 2013 when he played in 134 games for Minnesota. That year he hit .221 with nine homers and 44 RBI. The Dominican-native began his career with the Orioles in 2011. Perez’ 2014 season was marred by a broken foot he sustained in May. That limited him to 67 total games across three Nats’ affiliates, including 57 at Triple-A Syracuse. There he hit .311 with 13 doubles and 20 stolen bases. In eight total minor league seasons, Perez holds a .305 average, 268 steals and a .744 OPS. His best year was 2012 when he batted .314 with 51 stolen bases in 127 games. Perez appeared at the big league level in both 2012 and 2013. In 22 MLB games he has a .154 batting average and four steals. The Nationals announced the news via their Twitter account. -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc), 來自: 163.30.170.98 ※ 文章網址: http://www.ptt.cc/bbs/Nationals/M.1411088411.A.718.html
