想借標題問一下我自己的情形

今年三月我丟了第一篇paper出去

五月底的時候收到第一次的feedback

兩個reviewer的意見都還算正面，問了一些問題我也都能完整的回答

所以修改之後就再送出去了

然後今天收到第二次的feedback

前面這兩個reviewer都說OK，而且recommend to publish

但是.....多了第三個reviewer，他是這樣寫的

The efficiency of this type of XXXX was

slightly improved compared to conventional XXXX but its application to

industrial or power plant installations seems to be limited (see the

following comments). Although the paper falls within the scope of the journal

, is timely and original, and the results are of practical importance for

application to XXXX, I do not recommend the manuscript

for publication in the Journal of XXXX due to the following reasons:


*我自己看起來，這些理由跟其他兩位reviewer在第一次feedback寫的理由"動機"滿像的

*都是希望我改或增加一些東西。只是不知道為什麼他馬上就說not recommend

*而且我的東西本來就是要主打non-industrial applications，不知道為什麼他一直打

*我的東西在industry不是很有用

主編的email在一開頭的內文就寫

Dear Mr.,

I regret to inform you that the reviewers of your manuscript have advised

against publication of your paper at this time. For your guidance, the

reviewers' comments are included below.

If you feel that you can provide a greatly revised paper that incorporates

all of the reviewers' suggestions and addresses all concerns, I invite you

to resubmit your work.

Thank you for giving us the opportunity to consider your work.

應該是很清楚的拒絕我了

不知道這樣還需要花時間在這個journal上嗎?

還是趕緊投別的?

像這種情形，如果要改投別的期刊，那manuscript需要改過再投嗎?

還是原封不動的丟出去就好?



第一篇paper就被拒絕，沒甚麼經驗，請大家指教

ps 主編自己在這個領域也是有做過一些東西(理論派)，我有reference過他一些文章

不過我這篇全部都是在講實驗，就是一個新的機構
