[問題] 統計混合分配

A total of n people have been invited to a party honoring an important
official. The party begins at time 0. The arrival times of the n guests
 are independent exponential random variables with mean 1, and the
arrival time of the official is uniformly distributed between 0 and 1.

a. Find the probability that exactly k of the guests arrive before the
official.

個人覺得版本I正確，但又說不出版本II哪裡有問題...

→ yhliu:不是樓上解釋的那樣. 基本上 official 與賓客來的時間不獨立
→ yhliu:的話必須有聯合分布才可能計算所問機率.
→ yhliu:事實上是: 令 Ai 代表第 i 位賓客比 official 早到. 則
→ yhliu:Ai 間不是獨立事件, 而 [解1] 卻把它們當成相互獨立的.
→ yhliu:Ai 間不獨立, 因為都涉及共同的, official 到的時間.

→ yhliu:Given Y=y 時, [Xi<y], i=1,...,n 是相互獨立的.
